The early years lay the foundation for a child’s emotional health, development, and well-being.
I provide personalized parent coaching and sleep support for families with babies and young children with practical guidance for sleep, feedings, routines, behavior, and day-to-day challenges. My goal is to help parents feel supported, informed, and confident as they build a strong foundation for their family.
In a world full of generic advice, online guides, and overwhelming information, I offer something more personal: hands-on, individualized support tailored to your child, your family, and your specific needs.
About me
Hi, I’m Lauren Russo.
I am the owner and founder of The Early Years Collective. I have spent more than 20 years working with children and families, and I bring both professional experience and personal understanding to the work I do.
I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling, I’m a former early childhood teacher, and I’m a certified sleep consultant. My background includes extensive study in child development, child psychology, and positive parenting approaches, all of which shape the support I provide to families.
I am also a mother of twin boys, so I understand firsthand both the joy and the intensity of raising children. That lived experience, combined with my professional background, allows me to support parents with both knowledge and empathy. The early years are some of the hardest but they can also be the most rewarding if you have the right support and guidance.
I do not believe in one-size-fits-all parenting support. Every child is different, every family is different, and the best guidance is always thoughtful, flexible, and individualized.
My approach is tailored to each family’s specific needs, goals, and values. I believe the early years and the parent-child relationship are two of the most important influences on a child’s development, and I aim to support parents in strengthening both.
My work is informed by current research and evidence-based best practices in child development and parenting. It draws from trusted sources such as the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Center on the Developing Child at Harvard University, along with widely respected frameworks in child development and parenting, including positive parenting, connection-based approaches, and whole-brain child principles.
My goal is not to hand you a generic plan, but to help you better understand your child, feel more confident in your decisions, and create lasting changes that support your family as a whole.
